Helpful Information

  • A fluffy, golden retriever puppy sitting in the backseat of a vehicle, looking at the camera with a relaxed expression.

How often do you have puppies?

A lot of time, research, testing and planning goes into any prospective litter. We do not have litters frequently or on set intervals. Sometimes we wait on nature for when our dogs are ready to be bred. Our litters are specially planned, thoughtfully considered and intended to breed our next show prospect and family member with hopes to continually improve the breed. We want you to join part of our extended family. Fill out a questionnaire and get on our list!

    Can I visit your kennel?

We are not a kennel, but a home based hobby breeder. This means our dogs are part of our family, living in our home, and sleeping in our beds. For personal security, and biosafety we do not allow visitors. Throughout the puppy growth and development process lots of videos and pictures will be shared. We can also do a FaceTime visit!

Do you offer a health guarantee?

Raising healthy puppies is our mission and we take this very seriously. We take every step possible to ensure healthy puppies that will grow and create memories with your family for years to come. We offer a limited guarantee as we are unable to control environmental factors that can contribute to the health of a puppy/dog once they leave us. Even with the most extensive testing, Dysplasia and Cancer can still show up.

What can I expect from you as a breeder?

When you take home a puppy from us, you are joining part of our extended family. You can expect life-long support with your puppy. We want to hear how they are developing, and are here as a resource. We are giving you part of our heart when you get a puppy from us.

  • What we expect from you as a new home.

We expect you to provide a life-long loving and safe home for one of our puppies to thrive in. We require you to sign a legal bill of sale contract when you take home your puppy. We also require you to provide necessary inoculations and healthcare as needed for your new family member. We expect you to feed a high quality diet that is not exclusively grain-free, as this type of food has been linked to negative health conditions in Golden Retrievers. Should your situation change and you are unable to care for your puppy/dog it is expected to be returned to the breeder and/or options discussed. Our dogs are never to be surrendered to a shelter or sold to a mill situation.

    Can I visit the puppies?

We love socializing our puppies, but when they are young, they are very vulnerable and susceptible to diseases, and too young for vaccinations to help protect them. We will attempt to allow local families to visit when they are 7 weeks old, but reserve the right to decline due to health or safety concerns. Health and safety is our priority. Parvovirus can easily be spread by humans inadvertently tracking it on shoes or clothing from contaminated areas. This virus can survive for extended periods, making it easy to spread even without direct dog-to-dog contact.
