Flyways Guardian Angel CGC CCA 12/16/17 “Charlie” is our heart dog. He is versatile and an excellent representation of exactly what a golden should be! He has multiple titles including his “Canine Good Citizen” and “Certificate of Conformation Assessment.” He has AKC points, Fast Cat points and likes to dabble in a little bit of everything. He is so gentle with children and visits people with disabilities, bringing joy everywhere he goes. Charlie has received great feedback from judges about his luxurious dark gold, straight, wash and wear coat, natural gait, and overall balance. He is considered a moderate dog, with a beautiful, blocky head.

He was pick of the litter from a collaboration with late Pam Hoffman; a well-known and respected longtime Colorado breeder, since early 90’s at “Flyways Goldens.” Her “Sammi” and my “Gilbert” (Flyways Hot Southern Mess/Flyway Angels on your Pillow) are Charlie’s parents.

Gilbert, is known for longevity and fantastic disposition. Gilbert passed his health clearances at 10 years old, and sired his first litter of 12 pups at that age, and lived to be 14 years old along with several littermates! We hope this in our pedigree improves longevity for this breed.

Charlie has good hips, elbows, eyes (no breeder options), and heart clearances all on OFA. He has also been genetically tested and clear for all genetic diseases including: NCL, DM, Ichthyosis 1 &2, PRA1, PRA2. There are many champions in Charlie’s pedigree including BISS GCH CH Autumn Groves Wind Over Red Rock and other classic lines we hope to preserve. Charlie will never pass you up for a game of ball, a swim in the lake, a hike in the mountains, or competing in AKC sports. He is a dog of a life time, has a gentle soul and is our “Principal.”
